School Psychologist
The School Psychologist is an integral part of the IEP team who is responsible for assessment, detailed report-writing, collaboration with team members, and making recommendations for intervention and student support. This position will apply expertise in, mental health, learning and behavior to help students succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. The School Psychologist will partner with families, teachers, and school administrators to create a safe, healthy, and supportive learning environment.
School Psychologists will:

Assess students for school-related psychological issues using standardized tests, write
detailed reports, and make recommendations for treatment plans and/or services based
on assessment results -
Collaborate with the special education team to design and implement intervention
strategies and program -
Counsel students and parents if applicable and referring them to further resources when
needed -
Provide mental health services to students as needed

Present findings of assessments to IEP Team and families in IEP meetings

Collaborate with teachers and families to create 504 plans and Individualized Education
Plans (IEPs) that help ensure success for kids with developmental, learning, or behavioral
delays -
Follow up with teachers and students on progress of their educational plans

Report any signs of child abuse or neglect
