BCBA

The school-based BCBA Supervisor will oversee the work of Registered Behavioral Technicians (RBT's) in schools. Supervisory hours including observation, training, and guidance on behavioral strategies and documentation for students with developmental and behavioral needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in the school setting as a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst, good communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, the ability to work with diverse student populations, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task, and a focus on integrity and ethical performance. The BCBA candidate should have knowledge of human development models for children with significant developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with co-workers, clients, and school staff is essential. The candidate must exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.

BCBA's will: 

  • have a least 6 months experience as an educational BCBA Supervisor preferred 

  • have completed 8-hour BACB Supervision training

  • be certified by the BACB as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and be CPR or BLS certified

  • Assist in renewing certifications of RBT's

  • Provide direct supervision for 5% of RBT working hours (4 RBT's at this time)

  • Provide feedback on performance and performance evaluation procedures

  • Design supervision according to state guidelines for Mater's in ABA and RBT providers

  • Review and provide feedback on staff data collection and documentation

  • Participate in behavioral staff performance reviews

  • Must possess a Driver’s License and be willing to drive 2 to 30 miles to school locations.
